Where can we move the pianos from and where to?

We can move pianos from any location in Redbridge to any other place within the property or another building in London.

1. We move pianos from property to property
2. We move pianos from or to storage units
3. We move pianos from room to room
4. We move pianos upstairs and down
5. We move pianos in all types from grand to upright

Do we dismantle pianos before moving them?

We will try and avoid dismantling pianos, but some pianos, mostly grand pianos, will be disassembled to prevent damage to the piano, doorways, and walls.

Our staff members have had the training to disassemble and assemble all types of grand, baby grand, and upright pianos. We will use safety straps in our loading vehicles with blankets to avoid scratches and movement.

Will the piano need tuning after the move?

We often get asked this question by our customers, and we always respond with the same thing, we don’t know until after the move. There are many reasons why pianos go out of tune, and moving them can cause movement and climate change, which causes small parts to move.

Pianos with recent tuning are less likely to require tuning. But even if you had your piano tuned yesterday, that doesn’t mean it won’t need adjustments after the move. Every piano is different, and moving it from one location to another causes movement and temperature changes, which cause things to expand, or shrink, causing tone issues. We offer professional piano tuning services.
