AMH Farewell 2020

Farewell 2020

As a nation, we can all agree that 2020 led us into a chaotic and strange year. If we think back to when our only worry would be making sure we remember our bags or a trolley token to have a pleasant supermarket shop instead of carrying a basket overloaded with goods.

However, this year has been about getting out of the car and having that weird, mad panic, checking your coat pockets to make sure you walked out of the house with a mask to even being allowed into the supermarket, assuming you’re not exempt from wearing one.

Our nation has been through a rollercoaster of a journey this year with every one of us battling confusion. We stood on our doorsteps every Thursday to clap for our key workers and whilst standing on our doorsteps, in our pyjamas, hoping and wishing for this virus to disappear so we can see loved ones again.

2020 certainly will go down in history, the year where we couldn’t see parents, children, friends and family due to our government’s policies and new laws that have been put in place. You could be among the millions of sceptics who don’t believe the virus is as deadly as the mainstream media and our government have told everyone. Still, regardless of your beliefs, deep down, no one wants the virus, and certainly doesn’t want to pass it to others.

When the dreaded lockdown first came around in the United Kingdom, many businesses and jobs were sadly lost, and many businesses are still in trouble almost a year on.

A Worker

Adopting a New Way of Working

Here at AMH Piano Services London, we as a company and a close team have faced many challenges throughout the year with the new restrictions in place throughout Central and Greater London, however, with every restriction and rule, we have confidently overcome the challenge and adopted a new way of working.

Our team have followed the correct advice on keeping workers and clients safe during COVID19. We only attend booked appointments at this present time, allowing ourselves time to clean and disinfect between every visit regarding our new safety rules.

The team apply clean masks and gloves with every visit and making sure we carry hand sanitiser on us at all times in junction with constant hand washing. Our staff will always have their temperature taken and recorded to ensure they are fit and well enough to work.

New Offices In London

AMH Expands With New Offices Across London

Over the past 16 months, we have been expanding and have allowed ourselves to focus on the positives of our expansion with new offices during the lockdown.

AMH is proud to announce that we have offices within Brixton (Boroughs of Lambeth), Greenwich (Royal Borough of Greenwich), Hammersmith (London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham), Holborn (Boroughs of Camden) and Twickenham (Borough of Richmond upon Thames). As our team watched the new announcement from Boris Johnson on Saturday 19th December 2020, we now see ourselves within London fall into the new tier 4 rules and guidance.

We can safely say that we will do everything we can within our power in the order of the new rules of tier 4. We remain committed to our customers, and their safety and we will carry on working on our valued customer’s pianos when we possibly can.
