The COVID-19 crisis in 2020 has no doubt taken us on a chaotic and strange journey as a nation. Remember when our sole concern was ensuring we had our bags or a trolley token for a pleasant supermarket shopping experience instead of lugging around an overloaded basket?
This year, it’s all about stepping out of the car, frantically checking your coat pockets to ensure you’ve got your mask, and then hoping you won’t be denied entry to the supermarket unless you have a valid exemption. Our nation grappled with confusion throughout the year. Every Thursday, we stood on our doorsteps to applaud our key workers, wearing our pyjamas, yearning for the virus to vanish so we could reunite with our loved ones.
Undoubtedly, new rules and government regulations in 2020 rendered it impossible for us to see our friends, family, and loved ones. You might be among the skeptics who question the virus’s severity as reported by the mainstream media and our government. However, regardless of your beliefs, no one desires the virus or wants to transmit it to others.
Several businesses and jobs were tragically lost when the terrible lockdown first struck the United Kingdom, and nearly a year later, many firms are still facing difficulties.
Adopting a New Way of Working
At AMH Piano Services London, we, as a company and a close-knit team, confronted numerous challenges throughout the year due to the new restrictions in Central and Greater London. However, we confidently tackled every challenge and embraced a new way of working.
Our team has followed the correct advice on keeping workers and clients safe during COVID19. Currently, we only attend scheduled appointments, allowing us time to clean and disinfect between visits as per our new safety guidelines.
The team applies clean masks and gloves with every visit, making sure we carry hand sanitiser on us at all times in conjunction with constant hand washing. Our staff will always have their temperature taken and recorded to ensure they are fit and well enough to work.
AMH Expands With New Offices Across London
Over the past 16 months, we’ve expanded our presence and focused on the positive aspects of our growth during the lockdown.
AMH proudly announces that we’ve established offices in Brixton (Boroughs of Lambeth), Greenwich (Royal Borough of Greenwich), Hammersmith (London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham), Holborn (Boroughs of Camden) and Twickenham (Borough of Richmond upon Thames). When we heard the new Tier 4 rules and guidelines announced by Boris Johnson on Saturday, December 19, 2020, we found ourselves falling under these regulations within London.
We can safely say that we will do everything within our power in accordance with the new rules of Tier 4. We remain committed to our customers and their safety, and we will carry on working on our valued customer’s pianos when we possibly can.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
AMH Pianos Services London would like to wish all of our customers a very Merry Christmas and fond well wishes for the new year. We would like to take this moment to thank every one of you for your love and support throughout this year and the ones before. We are grateful and wish you well.
