My name is Andy Howard. I am a fully qualified piano tuner/technician having completed a three year course at The Royal National College for the Blind, Hereford, in 1992; being awarded a credit in the AEWVH Diploma in Piano Tuning/Technician. I am also the founder of AMH Piano services which is fully insured and DBS checked.
I have recently moved to London to provide the general public and professionals with a highly skilled piano tuning service. I have looked after pianos for pianists at all levels, from beginners to seasoned musicians. I tune for recording studios and theatrical music companies, music teachers, professional artists, going anywhere the music takes me. I am based in the borough of Hammersmith and Fulham and I can also travel all across Greater London.
As a company we additionally cover all aspects of piano services ranging from piano removals to piano accessories. Please browse the site to see the full range of services AMH Pianos can provide. Additional helpful advice is also available on our FAQs page. If you have any specific piano related queries and would like to talk to me personally please make contact using the details found on the website.
I have many musical interests and have taken advantage of what London has to offer creatively. I very much enjoy going to concerts and can be seen regularly watching plays across London’s West End. I am also a keen sports person, who enjoys travelling, downhill skiing, and recently ran the London Marathon for a charity named RP Fighting Blindness in order to support awareness and research for this eye condition. As such, I am keen to support campaign work for people with disabilities.
My passion and motivation as an independent entrepreneur have been featured on the Get West London website. I am
also an active member of the Association of Blind Piano Tuners. Furthermore, I am now also a member of the Institute
of Musical Instrument Technology (I.M.I.T.). My aims for AMH Pianos are to provide a personal, professional and
client centred experience, developing long term relationships with service users and trade members.

In April, I will be running the 2016 London Marathon. The goal is to raise much needed funds for a London based charity: Metro Blind Sport. This amazing charity, aims to bring the joys of playing sports to blind and partially sighted individuals.
Making sports accessible to people with sight loss, provides social inclusion, confidence building and psychological benefits. It also ensures that blind and partially sighted individuals finally have access to avenues of physical fitness, healthy living, and improved life expectancy with a much better quality of life, and fewer health risks.
Your generous sponsorship and well wishes are greatfully appreciated, and I wish to thank you personally in your support for this cause that is so dear to my heart.
